To emit foam; to froth; -- said of the emission of yeast from

Any plant of the genus Euphorbia. See {Euphorbia}.

{Spurge flax}, an evergreen shrub ({Daphne Gnidium}) with
crowded narrow leaves. It is a native of Southern Europe.

oblong evergreen leaves.
